As a Brand Strategist, you’ll play a pivotal role in fulfilling client needs through exceptional campaign strategy and execution. You’ll be a trusted partner to high-level clients, developing robust brand strategies that strengthen brand identity and fuel organizational growth.

KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Strategic Thinking and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with client goals and integrate multiple channels for maximum impact.
- Client Service Excellence: Lead strategy workshops and deliver high-quality client service by translating objectives into actionable communication strategies.
- Public Relations Expertise: Build strong media relationships, secure earned media coverage, and manage crisis communication to protect brand reputation.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, effectively articulate ideas, and proactively address challenges with solutions.
- Team Management: Delegate to a team of content writers and strategists while ensuring productivity and quality in all deliverables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communications Strategy (80%)
- Deliver exceptional client service through strategy workshops and communications campaigns.
- Lead strategy workshop projects, from preparation, execution, and report creation.
- Create strategic plans for marketing campaigns, including concept creation, target audience, brand identity (if necessary), and effective marketing tactics.
- Define key messages for internal and external audiences, ensuring consistency across channels.
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns, combining PR, social media, content marketing, and advertising.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and tailor messaging to their target audience.
- Analyze communication campaign results to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.
Public Relations (20%)
- Collaborate with the Client Services Team to deliver earned media results through media relations and other opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Craft and distribute press releases, media kits, and thought leadership articles.
- Secure earned media placements to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Handle crisis communication planning and execution to manage brand reputation.
- Monitor and manage public perception across media channels.
- Ensure seamless integration of PR activities into comprehensive communication campaigns.
SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, and brand strategy.
- Leadership, strong work ethic, ability to work independently and be productive without close supervision, self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Confident, knowledgeable and well-spoken with an ability to interact and present to clients at all levels, including executive and C Suite.
- Able to identify key players in organizations and possess the ability to convert business issues into solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many projects at one time
- Sense of urgency and experience working with internal and external teams.
- Ability to manage and delegate to a team of part-time content writers and strategists.
- Proven ability to secure earned media placements and foster press relationships.
- Strong skills in developing and implementing communication plans.
- Experience in managing reputational risks and crafting crisis responses.
- Ability to write compelling press releases, messaging frameworks, and campaign materials.
- Skills to evaluate campaign performance and optimize future efforts.
- Previous customer service experience
- Excel, Word, Powerpoint, GSuite
- Hubspot experience is a plus
- Preferred college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business
