Brief Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and is responsible for providing resident care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans and as directed by nursing management.
This is a dual role of the CNA position and Staffing Coordinator. The CNA is central to the provision of resident care. The CNA works with other licensed care staff to coordinate the proper types of care to residents and strictly follows all Company nursing policies and procedures as well as safety guidelines.
As a dual role of CNA/Staffing Coordinator, this position is also responsible for creating and adjusting nursing department schedules, accepting calls regarding staffing, monitor nursing scheduled hours and reviewing punch in/out times.
Requirements
> Active, Non-Probationary CNA License
> Active, Class-Instructed CPR Certification
> Fingerprint Clearance Card
> Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing
> Tuberculosis Testing
> Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)
> Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds
> Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English
>Must be able to communicate with nursing department team members for staffing needs, fairly and consistently
