The role is crucial in ensuring our residents receive the financial support they need, while also working closely with families and facility staff to navigate the complexities of Medicaid programs. Potential for occasional travel to Utah facilities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medicaid Specialist or in a related healthcare financial role (skilled nursing experience preferred). However, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of Medicaid programs, applications, and state-specific requirements (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially when working with residents and families. Ability to construct professional emails and other communications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with healthcare financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Ability to take feedback and implement it.
