Job Description:
The bodyguard, whether unarmed or armed, will be responsible for ensuring the personal safety and security of clients in various environments, including public settings, private residences, and events. Your role is to assess risks, identify potential threats, and provide physical protection. For armed roles, additional responsibilities include the legal and safe handling of firearms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal protection for clients in public and private settings
• Conduct risk assessments of environments, including residences, event venues, and travel locations
• Monitor surroundings for any suspicious activity and potential threats
• Escort clients during public outings, ensuring their safety at all times
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to any emerging threats or dangerous situations
• For armed positions, carry and manage firearms in strict accordance with legal and company guidelines
• De-escalate tense or potentially dangerous situations effectively
• Work with other security team members and third-party agencies to ensure seamless security coverage
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Assist in the planning and execution of travel security, ensuring routes are secure
• Document and report any security breaches or incidents

Requirements:

For Unarmed Positions:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a bodyguard, armed security officer, or law enforcement officer
• Strong observational and risk assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and ability to handle strenuous situations
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and travel
• Must pass background checks and drug screening
• Valid HI Guard Card

For Armed Positions:

• All requirements for unarmed positions, plus:
• Valid and current firearms license/certification
• Extensive experience handling firearms in a professional or law enforcement capacity
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations regarding armed security
• Ability to maintain composure and judgment in high-risk situations
• Firearms training and certification (Proof required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with high-profile clients or VIPs
• Defensive tactics or self-defense training
• Knowledge of surveillance equipment and security technology
• Previous military experience or advanced law enforcement training
• Close protection certification or other specialized security training
