The Inside Sales Engineer supports the 'Business Development Manager - Energy Services' to provide innovative energy controls and building automation solutions.
Qualifications and Skills Recommended For Applicants
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or related field) or Equivalent technical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or engineering roles related to energy controls, building automation, HVAC, and/or electrical systems.
- A strong understanding of energy management systems, building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical systems.
Main Tasks
- Proposal development and & estimation to support the Business Development Manager with external sales teams to develop strategies that address customer needs and project goals.
- Assistance in identifying opportunities in energy efficiency and cost-savings measures in client projects.
- Collaboration with internal teams and product manufacturers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records of project specifications, proposals, and customer interactions and providing regular updates to leadership on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market insights.
Other Details
- The full-time position is primarily office-based with periodic site visits, client meetings, and participation industry events both on Oahu and on neighbor islands required.
