Pay Range: $59,000 - $116,000
Note: Individuals typically begin between the minimum to middle of the pay range
Provides support for integrated applications of moderate complexity. Works on multiple projects as a project team member. Responsible for analysis, design, development, maintenance and support of applications, working within standard guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical institute degree/certificate and one (1) year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Basic knowledge of one segment of the business.
- Proficiency in one programming language.
- Knowledge in end-user development tools.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in the project planning process with team members, sometimes with clients and business analysts.
- Assists in the development of work plan timelines. Manage workflows to meet sub-project timeframes.
- Participate in the identification of system requirements.
- Complies with architecture processes, principles, policies and standards.
- Complies with quality standards and procedures.
- Designs components for small solutions.
- Develop technical specifications for applications. Makes recommendations for the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
- Extract data from multiple sources. May design and implement data transformations. May load transformed data into information management system.
- Utilizes current data guidelines.
- Utilizes middleware tools for designing and developing solutions when required.
- Develops or modifies application components using disciplined software development processes.
- Conducts unit testing to ensure application meets specifications. Participates in integration testing.
- Documents new or modified components and testing activities/results.
- Provides ongoing maintenance of applications.
- May analyze existing applications to identify and document opportunities for improvements.
- Makes components production ready by moving them to libraries, completing forms, following procedures, completing version control documents, etc.
- Assists in providing Tier II (application) support.
- Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
