Job Summary :
The General Grants Specialist will report to the Assistant Vice President for the Office of Sponsored
Projects. This position will be responsible for supporting grant accounting functions, subaward
management / monitoring and updating active grant folders, and act as backup support during seasonal
peaks.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business,accounting, or related field; OR a combination of education and

Key Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions :
1. Accounting Functions (45%)
requests with the compliance of the federal, state, sponsors, and the University's procurement
policies.

o Such as maintaining grant files, tracking deadlines, and submitting required reports to
the funding agency.
o This may also involve communicating with the funding agency regarding any changes or
updates to the project.
4. Performs other related duties as assigned (5%)
