What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian full-time (Kalihi, Oahu) position at Hawaiian Building Maintenance?
HBM Hawaii is looking to hire for a full-time Custodian position located in Kalihi. This role requires good communication skills, customer service aptitude, previous Janitorial/Custodian experience helpful and willing to train. Applicants must perform basic manual labor and should be willing to lift/push/pull at least 30lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to routinely bend, squat and stretch throughout their shifts.
All positions offer benefits including vacation, holidays, 401k.
Duties include:
- clean, wipe/scrub down common areas
- clean dock
- clean roll up door at entrance
- clean aisles and shelving
- clean restrooms and offices
- replenish cleaning stock
- dust mop
- vacuum
- trash disposal
- must wear safety shoes
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm (40 hours a week)
Compensation: $18/per hour
