What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician (Waikoloa - Big Island) position at Hawaiian Building Maintenance?
We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician position to repair and maintain the facility in Waikoloa on the Big Island. Candidates must have a valid driver license, reliable vehicle, previous hands-on maintenance experience, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and grounds maintenance)
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc.
- Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 30lbs up to 50lbs and bend.
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Create and maintain work orders
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by property management.

Schedule:
Shift #1: 6am-2:30pm (applicant choice)
Shift #2: 2pm-10:30pm (applicant choice)
Compensation: $23.50/per hour
