What are the responsibilities and job description for the MX Service Support Officer position at HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with the annual escheatment process and ensures the remittance of all required unclaimed property to the State of Hawaii.
Assists in ensuring branch and contact center are compliant with all federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
Assists in ensuring branch compliance with all internal operational policies and procedures including, but not limited to the following:
Cash handling procedures
Dual control procedures
Branch security procedures
Branch audits
Monthly and quarterly security and OSHA requirements
Standard Procedures Manual content
Overall branch organization and presentation
Assists in providing necessary support to branch and other enterprise personnel in the following areas:
Policy & Procedural questions/clarification
Posting errors and corrections
Branch balancing complications
Quick resolutions to member complaints/concerns
SEG requests
Branch liaison with other internal departments
Reviews cash difference and potential loss reports, providing data to branch management for follow-up and coaching.
Revises and submits requests for branch-related deposit account losses.
Coordinates, completes, and disseminates administrative reports related to branches and deposit accounts, ensuring data accuracy.
Maintains and enforces Member Experience (MX) Service Support and branch-related policies, procedures, forms, and logs.
Assists in developing, implementing, communicating, and enforcing new MS Support, branch, and product-related policies and procedures.
Seeks feedback from branch personnel to enhance frontline operational efficiency and develop actionable concepts.
Acts as the contact for shared branching operation issues (HICUSO & CO-OP).
Represents assigned projects related to the department or branches.
Assists with testing and communicating Member Experience (MX) Service Support and branch-related changes to Symitar.
Supports the opening, closing, and relocation of branches.
Processes bond claims related to forgeries, alterations, and fraudulent deposits.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma
Business related courses beneficial
Valid drivers license, good driving record, and use of own vehicle
Able to travel to neighbor island as need.

Four years of related experience – preferably in operations.
Professional skills appropriate to the job title.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, fostering a team environment.
Handles confidential matters professionally, ensuring member privacy.
Strong organizational and planning skills

Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of financial institution practices, especially depository and branch-related products.

The expected pay range for the Member Experience (MX) Service Support Officer is $57,680 - $72,100/ year.
