The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the execution and quality inspection for incoming and finished good as well as in-process inspection for machining using advanced measuring equipment and documentation in SAP. What You Will Do:
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis for non-conforming good or int he case of customer complaints (8D report, problem solving...).
- Programming and operation of advanced measuring equipment.
- Supporting the calibration of measuring equipment.
- Monitoring Product Quality
- Creating documents for final product quality.
- Recording measuring data and quality reports in SAP QM module.
- Creating processes according to ISO 9001 and assist auditing these.
- Execute PPAP activities.
- Supplier audits with procurement team for supplier development
- Assist in training the staff in quality related topics.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of document management system.
- Collaboration with HAWE SE quality department (Germany) and other HAWE Group entities on processes and best practices
- Promote plant Safety Focus by identifying safety concerns, eliminating potential injury risks, and demonstrating proper PPE usage.
- Coordination of continuous improvement activities in Quality System
- Development of work instructions to protect the company quality management system
- Support the ramp up of a new production facility for manufacturing and assembling of hydraulic components and products.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
- Experience using and programming measuring equipment (i.e. coordinate measuring machine, form tolerance etc...)
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T Knowledge)
- Ability to read, understand and apply technical media and data especially technical drawings.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 standard for maintaining superior quality management.
- Process analysis and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to respond, react and make decisions while under pressure or time constraints with professionalism.
- Open minded to working wand communicating the HAWE Group employees in the international production network.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, writing and reasoning skills.
What We Would Prefer:
- Experience in a machining environment especially in the hydraulics industry
- Knowledge in SAP QM module.
- 2 year Technical Degree
