Job Title: Property Manager
Overview:
As a Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management and maintenance of properties to ensure they are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and provide exceptional living experiences for tenants. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of property management, including customer relationship management, legal administrative tasks, property leasing, and ensuring adherence to Fair Housing regulations. Effective communication with tenants, maintenance staff, and external partners is essential to uphold the property's standards and address any issues promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants to address their needs promptly and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Legal Administrative Tasks: Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to property management, leases, and tenant rights.
- Property Leasing: Oversee the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting tours, screening potential tenants, and executing lease agreements.
- Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance tasks using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools like AppFolio and Pulse to track work orders, schedule repairs, and ensure timely completion.
- Conflict Management: Address tenant disputes or conflicts professionally and find amicable solutions to maintain a harmonious living environment.
- Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or amenities to tenants to enhance their living experience.
- Fair Housing Regulations: Ensure strict adherence to Fair Housing regulations to prevent discrimination in leasing practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in AppFolio software is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants.
- Ability to handle conflict resolution professionally and maintain a positive relationship with tenants.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal requirements pertaining to property management.
