Job Title: IT Analyst (RIM Technical Analyst)
Work Authorization: GC-EAD, TN
Location: Hybrid (Vienna, VA; Winchester, VA; Pensacola, FL)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align technologies with records retention objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of Records and Information Management (RIM) industry standards, best practices, and technologies.
- Provide technical support in developing functional requirements, implementing, and maintaining RIM solutions.
- Plan, analyze, implement, and maintain technologies and methods related to records management.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for RIM across the organization.
- Assist business units with problem resolution related to RIM efforts.
- Assess and analyze compliance with records retention policies and identify gaps to develop a compliance roadmap.
- Execute activities related to the identification and preservation of information for legal matters, including:
- Liaising with the Office of General Counsel (OGC) to identify relevant business units and custodians for legal hold notifications.
- Coordinating with business units to locate potentially relevant information.
- Working with technical contacts to identify system capabilities for preservation requirements.
- Maintaining documentation and communicating risks or issues to RIM and OGC.
- Support the release of legal holds and assist business and technology system owners in resuming routine retention practices.
- Draft and revise procedures, processes, playbooks, and documentation related to legal hold management and preservation activities.
- Compile, prepare, and analyze data to monitor information and systems subject to legal hold preservation requirements. Share periodic updates with stakeholders and leadership.
- Evaluate and implement technologies to support legal hold, eDiscovery, and RIM objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong expertise in Records and Information Management (RIM) principles.
- Experience with Litigation Support and legal hold processes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal counsel and technical teams.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and records retention policies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with evaluating and implementing technology solutions for RIM and legal hold requirements.
