Job Summary
As an Account Director, you will play a critical role in partnering with clients in order to provide thought leadership and strategic guidance for their digital marketing initiatives. Your goal is to ensure the successful development and execution of tailored marketing strategies that boost brand presence, drive customer engagement, and achieve business objectives. By managing client relationships and coordinating with cross-functional teams, you will translate key insights into actionable digital marketing campaigns. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to Account Managers and services team members supporting your book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Define and assess project requirements, day-to-day brand campaign creative management, individual project and master calendaring, and inter- and intra-department communication
- Oversee project scope and schedule
- Ability to shine under pressure, creating on-the-fly changes to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Be passionate about delivering the best creative, but able to find ways of producing it
that does not jeopardize schedule and budget
- Responsibilities will include both interactive and traditional projects
- Assess client needs and team challenges proactively to create and enable effective
solutions
- Effectively communicate client needs to project team
- Manage workflow between all internal team members
- Maximize efficiency of internal processes
- Provide purpose, direction and motivation to the team
- Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria.
- Communicate with clients throughout the entire creative process.
Skills and Requirements:
- High competency in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
- In-depth knowledge of CRM software and digital marketing tools/platforms.
- Solid understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to generate and interpret reports.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Account Manager or similar role.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
