Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization. The Controller will play a critical role in financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and leadership skills to manage and mentor a growing accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Oversee the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure that financial reports are in compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Present financial analysis and reports to senior management and board members.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to set financial goals and allocate resources effectively.
• Prepare regular forecasts, providing management with insight into the financial health of the organization.
• Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Cash Flow Management

• Manage cash flow to ensure the company has the liquidity necessary to meet its operational and strategic goals.
• Monitor working capital and develop strategies to optimize cash flow management.

Compliance and Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.

Team Leadership and Development

• Supervise and mentor accounting and finance team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations.

Financial Strategy and Analysis

• Analyze financial trends, performance, and business opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Assist in formulating financial strategies that support the company’s long-term goals and objectives.

Technology and System Management

• Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of financial systems and software, ensuring they meet organizational needs and remain compliant with industry standards.
• Implement and optimize automated financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• CPA or CMA certification (preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Experience with financial systems and ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
