Tree Climber

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to perform various tasks related to tree trimming and care. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties

• Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees.
• Utilize climbing techniques and equipment, including ropes and harnesses, to safely ascend trees.
• Operate bucket trucks for higher tree work when necessary.
• Conduct assessments of tree health and provide recommendations for care or removal.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, and garden upkeep.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety on job sites.
• Climbing will be necessary 20% of the time, ideal candidates will be comfortable groundsman.

Skills

• Proficient in tree care techniques, including trimming, pruning, and removal.
• Experience with landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and gardening.
• Familiarity with operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of plant biology and growth patterns.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Hourly wage is based off experience and will be determined at time of interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
