Seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual with previous managerial experience in the food retail industry with a focus general merchandising, to join our team as Director of General Merchandise.
Qualifications
- 3 years minimum relevant managerial experience in the grocery industry.
- Strong knowledge of general merchandise, product assortment planning, and pricing strategies to drive sales and profitability.
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead teams while fostering a strong company culture aligned with the store's mission and values.
- Ability to analyze sales trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to optimize inventory, promotions, and competitive positioning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, profitability, and customer engagement through effective product selection, pricing, and promotions.
- Build strong vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing, reliable supply, and efficient inventory control while minimizing waste.
- Work closely with marketing, store operations, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on promotions, company initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
