The Human Resources Assistant / Generalist is responsible for supporting the day to day transactions relating to all phases of the employee life cycle activities, such as recruitment, hiring, new hire orientation, FMLA administration and tracking, employee data maintenance, support, and general routine reporting.
- College Degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 1 year of experience in Human Resources
- Positive and friendly attitude in working with all levels within the organization
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work load, assume and manage multiple tasks without close supervision, adapt to change, and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong technical skills / aptitude: Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Power Point, and Excel)
- Working knowledge of federal employment laws and leave practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate good listening skills
- Time keeping system (Kronos)
- Applicant Tracking System (Balance Trak)
- HRIS system (ADP)
