We are seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at HKK Law Offices. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive support to the Director of Finance in various accounting and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong technological proficiency and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the Director to prepare technological solutions to operational inefficiencies.
· Assist in client accounting activities, including but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and account reconciliations.
· Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and ERP imports, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, and document business transactions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
· Document internal financial processes to ensure clarity, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
· Utilize Excel and other relevant software to analyze financial data, create reports, and facilitate decision-making processes. Populate EOS dashboards with timely metrics.
· Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
· Support the Director in various ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Bachelor's degree and minimum four years experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Progressive experience in AP, AR, financial statements, general ledger.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization).
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, clients, partner organizations, and the general public.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications - minimum $62,400/annually.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
