Job Overview

We are currently looking for an A D Sales Manager to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

As an A D Sales Manager, you will:

Build brand awareness and develops strategies that focus on specification and basis of design within regional architecture and design (A D) firms. Assists other Haworth sellers with growing ancillary product sales within their end-user assigned accounts and firms.

Essential Functions
  • Build and maintain client relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Conduct in-person client engagements: Articulates Haworth's value proposition through face-to-face (F2F) client engagements, delivering compelling presentations, and creating solutions with existing, target and new opportunities.
  • Creates Value in Haworth-Dealer Relationship: Presents new business leads, strategizes with dealers on developing new business and leading with Haworth solutions.
  • Identify and qualify leads: Proactively identify and qualify potential clients through networking, referrals, and market research to fill funnel.
  • Manage a sales market/territory: Manage assigned sales market/territory, developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Negotiate and close deals: Ensures profitable agreements for Haworth and its dealers. Dependent on focus, will negotiate contracts and close deals with end-users, or support efforts to close deals through architecture design (A D) firms.
  • Track sales activities and performance: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Industry Awareness & Networking: Stays updated on relevant news, networks within the market, attends events, interacts with business leaders to identify trends and opportunities, and increases brand awareness through social media to highlight Haworth's capabilities.
  • Team Coordination: Works closely with other Haworth selling roles to generate ancillary product sales within their assigned accounts.
  • Market Travel: Travels up to 80% of the time in assigned market to meet face-to-face with clients, influencers, and dealers. Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends for A D events, including hosting, and attend business networking activities.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job function with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, architecture, industrial design, interior design, marketingor equivalent.
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.

Work Experience:

  • 2 years experience in consultative B2B, solution-based sales role with demonstrated track of generating revenue and meeting sales targets with Bachelor's Degree.

Additionally:

  • Ability to work in San Francisco, CA. without relocation assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Contract office furniture or commercial interiors experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Haworth offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, sales incentive bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions. We also offer a range of benefits and programs to meet our member needs, based on eligibility. These benefits include comprehensive health care coverage, a retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, and much more. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided during the hiring process. This role offers a salary range of 80k - 175k, depending on candidate experience, education, and skill set.
