Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Supervise daily on-site activities, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and trades.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets project specifications, plans, and industry standards through regular inspections.
- Scheduling & Planning: Maintain project schedules, identify delays, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
- Safety Management: Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and maintaining hazard-free worksites.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate with project managers and General Superintendent to resolve on-site challenges.
- Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records, including daily logs, job site photos, RFI logs, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years in commercial construction, with 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and reading blueprints/technical drawings.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required; additional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP, First Aid/CPR) are a plus.
- Core Competencies: Leadership, communication, attention to detail, and time management.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on various ground terrains.
- Physical stamina to walk, climb stairs, sit, stand, navigate construction sites as well as navigate areas for inspection for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to operate tools and other business machines.
- Ability to maintain project cleanliness and efficiency.
- Ability to perform additional tasks as assigned
