The Team Members of Maintenance are the backbone of the resort. They keep us standing strong with their superior skills in all aspects of construction. Their friendly, modest nature and enduring smiles keep guests relaxed and comfortable amidst the ever-changing atmosphere of the resort.
A resort Painter provides the resort with high quality workmanship, thereby keeping the resort’s standards to the highest quality.
What you will do (includes but not limited to):
You will expertly paint and touch up interior and exterior surfaces throughout the property while practicing proper drop cloth procedures to prevent spill hazards. Properly clean work area, brushes, and equipment. Provide various maintenance duties as necessary and or directed. Full time, must have own transportation.
Qualities and characteristics of a Painter include being personable, focused, skilled, and precise.
Minimum requirements include speaking and understanding English, understand proper use of ladders/scaffolding (inside and outside), various paint types/finishes, and brush types and usages.
Skills and abilities include being able to work alone and follow directions with minimal supervision.
Minimum education required is a high school diploma/GED.
Minimum experience required is 1 year painting.
Physical elements: Work at heights, on ladders/scaffolding; various noise/temperatures levels and weather conditions; various odors/fumes; lift, carry, transport heavy loads; reach high/low areas.
