Barista

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests, take their orders efficiently, and thank them genuinely.
• Provide drink menus and knowledgeably answer questions about ingredients and allergens.
• Carefully take orders, noting specific preferences like coffee blend, dairy, and sugar ratios.
• Consistently offer high-quality beverages and food, adhering to our recipe and presentation guidelines.
• Handle basic kitchen tasks, from washing and chopping produce to meat preparation.
• Efficiently operate the cash register, ensuring accurate payment processes.
• Maintain a tidy, well-stocked, and organized store environment.
• Monitor brewing equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Share customer feedback with managers and suggest potential menu additions.
• Proactively anticipate customer needs and key operational tasks.
• Uphold our premium brand image centered on gourmet offerings and excellent service.
• Regularly contribute to the café's upkeep.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Cafe Manager.

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of high-volume Barista experience
• Basic food preparation and kitchen equipment knowledge is a huge plus!
• Experience in cupping and using different brewing methods and brewing machines.
• Ability to gauge customers’ preferences.
• Excellent communication and social skills.
• Must be a team player and hands-on.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Servsafe Certified is a plus.
