The primary responsibility while working as a physical therapy technician is to assist in maintaining patient flow of the clinic. The tech will assist patients to the treatment area and provide modalities to patients (such as, heat packs, ice packs, electrical stimulation) under the direct supervision of a physical therapist. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to personal and professional growth, customer service, and ability to work as a team. They should have excellent organizational skills, while also having the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and maintain equipment and treatment rooms
- Maintaining patient flow in the clinic between patients, therapists and schedulers
- Cleaning patient care areas and sanitizing equipment
- Laundry duties & stocking supplies
- Opening and closing tasks
- Assisting patients with modalities (including heat packs, ice packs, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound) under the direct supervision of a physical therapist
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Majority of the shift is spent standing and walking.
- Read a variety of printed and handwritten materials and take verbal instruction.
- Communicate with patients, therapists, and co-workers.
- No prior medical experience is required for this position.
