The Production Team Lead is responsible for safely executing the varied responsibilities to meet the production schedule and quality targets. Safety is our top priority, associates are required to follow and comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
This is a Night Shift role 10:00PM - 6:30AM Sunday - Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Model and embed our core values to stay safe and put the health and well-being of our teams first.
- Responsible for hands-on training and providing guidance to all Production Associates.
- Responsible for ensuring the Production Associates accurately setup and operate all facility machines to ensure production needs are being met.
- Reports any issues and/or concerns to their direct supervisor.
- Load coils onto the uncoiler; weld the coil properly and safely.
- Cut, weld, and run material through machines.
- Perform roll changes
- Support and provide input for continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 Years manufacturing experience operating machines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure accuracy.
- Proven record of strong attendance.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn how to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Must be able to use measuring devices (micrometer, caliper, measuring tape, etc)
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards:
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to withstand repetitive movements such as bending and lifting.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to co-lift up to 50 lbs. repetitive and occasionally lift up to 50 - 100lbs.
