The Account Manager Associate is responsible for assisting with the service needs of the customer, as well as provide technical assistance that supports the objectives of the business unit.
Job Responsibilities:
Client Service:
- Client service support activities as necessary to meet the needs of our clients while providing exceptional and distinctive service
- Responsible to handle all interactive interface as necessary and works with carrier to resolve inaccuracies
- Coordinate download activity per the agency guidelines for download transactions
- Timely management of correspondence as required by department, including email and client document management system
- Support the new business and renewal processes
- Act as a liaison with Account Managers and our Carrier Partners
- Seize opportunities for obtaining referrals leading to success in meeting assigned goals
- Serve as backup for the Receptionist duties as necessary
Technical Support:
- Maintain current knowledge & demonstrate efficient use of our client management systems
- Understands and adheres to documented procedures and employee practices of the organization
- Knowledge of carrier websites including rating, endorsement processing, billing and retrieval of documents
- Seize training opportunities to further personal and professional development
- Support team by building strong relationships and sharing knowledge and useful techniques
Personal Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written skills including the ability to present and express insurance transactions to non-industry personnel in laymans terms
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy as well as organized, self-starting and relationship building skills
- Ability to shift focus and manage time independently in order to prioritize work load and to meet time sensitive deadlines
- Lead by example
