PROJECT MANAGER
Provide overall administrative and technical direction for construction of Multi-family residential project including residential apartments.
Typical Duties:
1. Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with owner representatives, subcontractors, security and lower management.
2. Plan, coordinate and supervise all activities of all company personnel assigned to project (s).
3. Plan work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
4. Maintain official project log(s) and documentation files through use of company software.
5. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of onsite Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget, investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
6. Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control and day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff if applicable.
7. Provide technical assistance, interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment as required.
8. Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
9. Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with owner.
10. Represent company in project meetings.
11. Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction.
