Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with routine maintenance of vehicles, including checking/replenishing fluids, checking tire pressure, cleaning, taking vehicles for repairs that cannot be made by staff
- Maintaining vehicle logs and assisting the transportation department with daily vehicle inspections
- Minor plumbing repairs, including leaky or plugged faucets and pipes
- Repairing and erecting wall partitions, shelves, fences, floors, doors and other related items
- Routine carpentry work
- Moving furniture, equipment, supplies
- Janitorial duties including cleaning residences, school and offices
- Responds positively to requests for assistance by child care and treatment staff
