Business Purpose
To safely and effectively assist the Shipping Supervisor in the daily operation of the shipping department. This may include processing required paperwork for all in-process and finished material/orders in a timely manner in an effort to meet the customers due date while following all established corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines. In additional this position will serve as a back up for the Shipping Supervisor.
Role Qualifications (Required & Preferred)
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (R); Associates or Technical Degree (P)
Experience: 3-5 years shipping experience with clerical background (P)

Specific Accountabilities For The Role
- Assist with coordinating and executing the shipment, including the creation, verification and consolidation of required documentation for shipments (domestic and export).
- Ensure that all federal and international shipping regulations are This includes assisting the Shipping Supervisor in tracking and monitoring of the wood used internally for packaging and the updating of applicable usage logs/paperwork which is reviewed on a monthly basis.
- Perform daily duties in a timely This includes receiving, backlogging, preparing manifests and bills of lading, sending shipments in AX and interacting with drivers/trucking carrier personnel as necessary to ensure shipment process is effective and timely.
