Position overview:

The Electrical Project Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the scheduling of all electrical contracting projects from start to finish. This role involves developing detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that all phases of the projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Scheduler works closely with project managers, field crews, and other stakeholders to ensure resources, materials, and labor are allocated effectively to meet deadlines and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for electrical contracting projects using industry-standard scheduling software.

· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project timelines and milestones.

· Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide solutions to keep the project on track.

· Regularly update and adjust schedules based on project changes, ensuring accurate reflection of project status.

· Conduct schedule reviews with project teams and management to communicate project timelines and any potential risks.

· Prepare detailed schedule reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

· Analyze project schedules to optimize resources and improve efficiency.

· Assist in the coordination of resources, materials, and manpower to meet project deadlines.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards in all scheduling activities.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling documentation and records.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

· experience in project scheduling within the construction or electrical contracting industry.

Skills:

· Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Procore Primavera P6, or similar.

· Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in scheduling and reporting.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
