Estimator needed ASAP for General Contractor In Maryland
Your new company
Our client is an established and rapidly growing General Contractor specializing in Municipal and Public Sector projects. With a strong foothold in these industries, they focus on projects in libraries, schools, airports, and other large-scale public and private facilities.
Your new role
They are seeking either a junior or experienced Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years estimating experience and preferably experience bidding on projects valued at $10 million and upwards. This role is perfect for someone with a strong drive to succeed and a desire to grow within a company that offers a substantial upward trajectory.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare hard bid, fixed price, sealed envelope estimates for projects ranging from $5 million to $100 million.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop comprehensive bids.
Analyze project requirements and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Stay updated on industry trends, costs, and best practices.
Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all bid submissions are timely and accurate.
What you'll need to succeed
1-2 years' experience as an Estimator in the GC environment, with a focus on high-value projects.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Motivated and detail-oriented individual.
Ability to work 5 days a week in the office.
