Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Building Engineer to oversee a historical office building and its maintenance and operations of their commercial property . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building systems, engineering, and facilities management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building engineering or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- 07 Washington License (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using building management software and other relevant tools.
