Your Responsibilities:
As the CFO, you will lead and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP). Your responsibilities will include maintaining effective accounting, financial, and treasury systems, preparing the annual operating budget, and communicating the organization's financial health to key stakeholders.
What You Need to Succeed:
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a non-profit CFO, with extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency with word processing. You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to interface professionally with employees, donors, and the Board of Trustees are also crucial.
