Hays Luxembourg is seeking an IT Infrastructure - Migrations Engineer to join our client's team. This role will support a major data center move and a comprehensive tech refresh of our client's core IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities Assist in building new IT infrastructure assets and services in the new data centre, including network, Storage, hypervisor, and backup systems Support the go-live of new applications based on client's processes Aid in the migration and tech refresh of infrastructure applications, such as Active Directory FileServer, sFTP, and IBM Workload Scheduler Profile 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure operations and projects Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix servers Proficiency in VMware Experience with data centre setup and operations Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly Independent and reliable working style Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in German and French is an advantage Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an open-minded approach to sharing information and transferring knowledge to team members
