- Stay updated on legal developments that may impact the business and provide proactive recommendations to leadership.
Legal Representation & Documentation
- Prepare legal filings, responses, and supporting documentation for labor-related cases and contract disputes.
- Work with external legal counsel when necessary to support complex cases.
- Assist with internal investigations and regulatory audits, ensuring all legal documentation is properly maintained.
What We’re Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed attorney in Texas.
- 7 years of experience in employment law, contract law, or corporate legal matters.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
- Strong background in labor law, contracts, and compliance.
- Proven ability to translate legal concepts into business-friendly language and provide strategic legal solutions.
- Experience in QSR, restaurant, hospitality, or franchise law is a plus.
- Ability to provide business-oriented legal solutions that align with company objectives.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
What You’ll Get In Return
As General Counsel, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the legal and business strategy of a fast-growing, industry-leading franchise group. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and operations teams to drive compliance, risk management, and business success.
