Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Smoke Shop Cashier to join our team! As a cashier, you will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process sales transactions using the register/POS system
- Check IDs to verify age compliance with local laws
- Restock shelves and maintain product displays
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Provide basic product knowledge and recommendations
- Handle cash and credit card payments accurately
- Monitor inventory and report low-stock items
- Follow all store policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Must be [18 or 21 ] (depending on local tobacco laws)
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of tobacco, vape products, and accessories is a must! Looking for reliable stoners that know their sh!t.
