What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Hazel Creek Montessori?
Hazel Creek Montessori, located on Bainbridge Island, WA, is currently looking to hire a full-time teacher for our preschool classrooms. We are looking for enthusiastic, engaging, patient, kind, collaborative, self-efficacious individuals with the desire to team teach and work with children ages 1 to 4.
We are located on a 10-acre farm and the environment is a child's paradise. We have an outdoor educational program with extensive vegetable and ornamental gardens, greenhouse, swimming pool, trails, wetlands, goats, and horses.
Compensation ranges from $18.00-$22.00 per hour based on education, skills, and experience. Benefits available include vision, dental and health insurance, a simple IRA program for retirement planning, and paid winter break. There may also be continuing paid education for both ECE and Montessori educational degrees and certification, in lieu of an employment agreement.
