Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager, Client Success to join our team and cultivate lasting partnerships with our prestigious client base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving strategic growth, and ensuring client success in the world of treasury technology. As a key client champion, you will act as a trusted advisor to investment firms, helping them optimize financial performance and operations through our innovative platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Forge deep relationships with key decision-makers at hedge funds and private market firms.
  • Understand client business objectives, challenges, and evolving needs to maximize engagement.
  • Strategic Growth & Revenue Expansion:
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, expanding Hazeltree’s footprint within existing accounts.
  • Contribute directly to revenue growth by aligning clients with solutions that enhance their financial performance.
  • Treasury & Product Expertise:
  • Develop a deep understanding of Hazeltree’s platform and the intricacies of treasury management in the investment management industry.
  • Educate clients on best practices and help them fully leverage our solutions.
  • Client Success & Retention:
  • Proactively address client needs, provide expert training, and ensure seamless ongoing support.
  • Drive platform adoption and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams (implementations, product, sales, support, etc.) to advocate for client needs and contribute to continuous solution improvements.
  • Provide insights and feedback that directly shape the evolution of our platform and services.


Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in client success, account management, or a related role.
  • Experience working with hedge funds, private equity firms, or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Relationship Mastery: Proven ability to build rapport, foster trust, and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Sales & Growth Mindset: Passion for identifying opportunities and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial products and investment management dynamics.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with SaaS platforms and eager to deepen knowledge of treasury technology.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving & Proactiveness: Ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and proactively manage multiple client accounts.
  • Organizational Excellence: Highly organized, self-starter with strong time management skills.
  • Bonus Points:
  • Experience working with hedge funds or private equity firms.
  • Familiarity with treasury management principles and best practices.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ChurnZero, Zendesk).
