Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, managing month-end close processes, and supporting compliance with financial regulations. The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO and collaborate with various teams to enhance financial operations and support the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Month-End Close & General Ledger Management:
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements.
- Oversee reconciliations and journal entries.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable:
- Supervise AR and AP processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices for managing collections and vendor payments.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Support:
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Process Improvement & System Implementation:
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Outsourced Accounting Team Management:
- Oversee the outsourced accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to align accounting processes with business objectives.
- Provide financial guidance to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
- Previous work experience in startups is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary : $105,000 - $145,000
