Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems Engineer to join our team in our Charlotte, NC office.
Candidate will provide I&C system engineering services and develop designs for the water and wastewater industry with a focus in our Mid-Atlantic Region. Work includes both in-plant and remote telemetry projects with the potential for HMI / PLC programming / configuration work. Candidate will engage in Hazen’s collaborative approach to deliver and meet our clients’ needs by :
- Preparing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control system network diagrams, control panel wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and installation details.
- Coordinating with the other disciplines (process / mechanical, structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and site civil).
- Performing quality reviews of BIM models, Revit families, and CAD based files used in the production of contract documents.
- Inspect, witness equipment testing, and approve of I&C work provided by contractors at water and wastewater facilities.
