We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our esteemed Project Management and Engineering Department. This pivotal role is responsible for the development, implementation, and successful closure of Strategic, Developmental, and CAPEX projects, all while fostering a culture rooted in teamwork, precision, and exemplary customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and finalize Strategic, Developmental, and CAPEX projects.
- Enforce safety standards to ensure an injury-free workplace.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate in a team environment during pre-project studies and throughout all project phases.
- Partner with production units to identify and validate new project opportunities.
- Work in conjunction with financial analysts to provide essential financial assessments and updates.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure required equipment and services at optimal pricing, in collaboration with the procurement department.
- Adhere to corporate standards for documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Participate actively in mandated meetings and comply with company policies as stipulated in the Policies & Procedures for Salaried Employees Manual.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general file management.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- Strong technical understanding of steel manufacturing processes and heavy industrial equipment.
- Excellent collaboration skills, facilitating effective communication among production, maintenance, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Ability to thrive in an international and multilingual corporate environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Engineering within a steel manufacturing or heavy industry context.
- At least five years of proven experience in Project Management.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
