In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities as outlined in the company’s corporate policies. You will collaborate with plant organizations to identify and resolve operational and maintenance issues, while also developing and preparing capital appropriations for submission. This includes establishing project cost savings, creating detailed scopes of work, and supervising contractors during project implementation.
You will execute projects from inception through implementation and start-up, maintaining and tracking project budgets and schedules. Regular communication with management is essential to ensure projects are completed on budget and on time, while meeting project objectives.
Additionally, you will determine the necessary resources (engineering firms, field services, material expediting, etc.) to achieve project goals and ensure their availability when needed. Beyond capital projects, you will also execute small projects, inspections, analytics, and diagnostics to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and safety of the facility. Your role will involve developing recommendations for improvements and collaborating with maintenance and operating personnel to implement solutions.
