Job Summary:
The Estimator/Project Manager will estimate, oversee, organize, manage, and plan industrial and commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Oversees Electricians and Sub-Contractors to ensure projects are completed on time meet all specifications and quality standards.
· Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provides leadership in the initial planning stage by collaborating with clients, engineers and Company Management to develop detailed descriptions of jobs and materials necessary to complete projects.
· Schedules and coordinates projects in logical steps and budget the time necessary to meet each deadline.
· Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
· Interact with the clients on a timely basis, through phone, email and in person.
· Plans, coordinates, organizes, overseas and directs activities regarding the construction and maintenance of assigned structures, facilities and systems.
· Leads crews to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, with accuracy, efficiency and in accordance with NEC.
· Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
· Conduct risk assessments; identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
· Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
· Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, client managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons and Sub-Contractors.
· Assist in the hiring, terminating and evaluating of company employees.
· Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Must be able to understand industrial control schematics and commercial electrical drawings.
· Must be able to layout conduits and wiring for industrial and commercial projects
· Must be able to size conduit and wiring

Education and Experience:
· At least ten years of electrical construction experience required.
· Supervisory Experience is necessary.
· Able to use estimating software
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of job sites in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
· Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
· Ability to possess a valid driver's license to visit construction sites.
