We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team and help ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections and tests, analyzing data, and documenting results in accordance with established procedures. The Quality Technician must have excellent attention to detail, be able to work independently, and have strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- · Quality Inspector will collect and inspect job set-ups per procedures and work instructions
- · Quality Inspector will log inspection results in computer database
- · Quality Inspector will ensure all quality documentation and control samples are available at machines throughout production run
- · Quality Inspector will retain control samples of good product and defect samples
- · Quality Inspector will ensure finished product meets documented product specifications
- · Quality Inspector will identify, quarantine, and notify supervision of any non-conforming product
- · Must have basic knowledge of math and be proficient in the use of PC
- · Must be willing to perform other quality job duties as assigned
- · Must work in accordance with all Policies and Procedures regarding employment, safety, and housekeeping
- · Must be willing to work overtime if required
- · Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 30lbs.
Quality Inspector will need to demonstrate and have the ability to understand and use the following quality tools:
· Blueprints
· Dimensional Tolerances
· Work Orders
· Pin, Height, and Go / No Go Gages
· Quality Procedures / Instructions Requirements
Prior experience in Injections Molding is preferred, but will consider other Quality Inspector experience.
Experience:
· Quality Control in Manufacture environment: 2 years (Required)
· Microsoft Office: 4 years (Required)
· Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required)
· Plastics injection molding: 1 year (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
