Position : HR Payroll Specialist
Location : San Diego, CA
Pay : $31 / hour
Experience :
- 5 years of experience in HR and payroll administration required.
- Experience managing health benefits, retirement plans, and payroll software (preferably Paylocity).
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).Relevant HR or Payroll certifications (e.g., CPP Certified Payroll Professional).Type : Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
HB Staffing is seeking an HR Payroll Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description :Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee timecards and bi-weekly payroll, including managing accruals, bonuses, and deductions.Update and maintain payroll records, including personal information, tax withholding, and benefits documentation.Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.Generate payroll reports, tax filings, and other related documentation.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Provide managers with requested ad hoc payroll reports.Assist with recruitment tasks such as posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientations.Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and termination of health benefits and retirement plans.Provide HR support, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and maintain up-to-date records for audits.Position Requirements :
