What are the responsibilities and job description for the BLF-Manufacturing Production position at HBD Industries?
Pay Range: Starting at $19.48 to $20.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential and $150 monthly attendance bonus
Position Summary
Production team members work on a variety of manufacturing tasks to include mixing and milling operations, operating hose extrusion machinery, operating equipment to finish and pack all hose prior to shipment. During your interview, you'll have the opportunity to see different operations and select a preferred shift and department based on availability. This position will report to the Production Supervisor and base out of the plant in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
We do not require uniforms or steel toe shoes and have benefits available including vacation time after 6 months.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Following our factory policies of Safety, Quality and Productivity
- Employ established Standard Operating Procedures for machines, tooling, gauging and other equipment
- Must be able to perform medium work: lifting 50 lbs. occasionally, 25 lbs. frequently and 10 lbs. constantly
- Employ basic math skills of addition, subtraction and multiplication to accurately report production
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Maintain reliable attendance
Experience and Education Required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year in a manufacturing production position is preferred

Shift availability: We are a union facility - shifts are governed by seniority and availability.
- Day Shift: 8am - 4pm
