Job Summary And Qualifications
The Staff Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of physician related payments and the upkeep of all relating records. You will assist with analyzing financial data and preparing appropriate explanation for activities and variances. You will work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results. As Staff Accountant, you will work with vendors to resolve any discrepancies as well as non-payment of invoices.

As Staff Accountant, you will work with vendors to resolve any discrepancies as well as non-payment of invoices.
- You will prepare the main AP accrual and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- You will evaluate, code, & obtain department head signatures and submit for payment all non PO invoices to the Supply Chain.
- You will prepare journal entries at month end and post accordingly.
- You will interact frequently with all areas of finance, clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience with an emphasis in administrative and clerical functions.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
