Your Responsibilities

Conduct accurate laboratory testing and analyze proficiency samples promptly.

Assist in departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisor.

Maintain precise records / documentation of patient results.

Perform urgent procedures within required turnaround times.

Use sound judgment in interpreting results, including performing delta checks.

Manage pending and result logs, addressing any outstanding issues.

Conduct quality control procedures and handle critical laboratory specimens.

Qualifications

Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology preferred.

Experience as a Medical Technologist is advantageous but not required.

State of Florida Technologist License necessary or ability to obtain during the interview process.

Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is preferred.

Generalist experience is highly valued.
