Job Summary And Qualifications
The Quality Improvement Coordinator II is responsible for providing effective Hospital-wide Quality programs. Reports to the Director of Quality/Risk Management. The Quality Improvement Coordinator II assumes an active role in planning, directing, and facilitating the Quality program. She/he is responsible for meeting regulatory standards, complying with Corporate and Hospital policies and procedures, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all healthcare providers. She/he will participate in the management and support quality initiatives, assures facility compliance with regulations and standards of all regulatory agencies and assumes formal daily responsibility for the facility’s Quality program. This position assumes and coordinates education and consultations to the Medical Staff and Department Directors/Managers concerning quality issues. The focus of this position will be Medical Surgical and Psychiatric quality standards and measurements.

What qualifications you will need:
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
- 3 years experience Required Years of Experience
- Registered Nurse, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN), or Licensed Dietician
- Certified in Healthcare Quality and Management must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Other-Fingerprint Required
