We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Non-Invasive Cardiology to join our team. As our Supervisor of Non-Invasive Cardiology, you will direct departmental technical activities and staff in the echo department. You will also report and take action on QI Monitors and oversee compliance to departmental policies and procedures. Job Summary And Qualifications
We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Non-Invasive Cardiology to join our team. As our Supervisor of Non-Invasive Cardiology, you will direct departmental technical activities and staff in the echo department. You will also report and take action on QI Monitors and oversee compliance to departmental policies and procedures. Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
- You will provide leadership and be responsible for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments on a shift-by-shift basis.
- You will perform all cardiovascular sonography procedures, echocardiography exams, develop protocols, maintain compliance and orders supplies.
- You will be responsible for department workflow and completion of ordered procedures.
- You will continuously evaluate work process and design; understanding role in ensuring quality/performance improvement, productivity, and service delivery to meet stakeholder needs.
- You will assume responsibility for the I.C.A.E.L. (IAC) accreditation at the hospital. Works collaboratively with physicians and staff to maintain ICAEL certification.
- Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography or equivalent
- 2 years previous experience as a Sonographer
- 1-3 years of Supervisory Experience in Echocardiography
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer RDMS, AE from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Registered Cardiac Sonographer from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
